Next steps and upfront costs

The upfront costs will be similar to any other move you have made. In addition to the purchase price, you’ll need to budget for stamp duty, conveyancing and legal fees. If need be, your contract can be subject to the sale of your existing home.

Ongoing costs

As you’re living independently in your own home, the ongoing costs will be the same as you’ve always paid such as council and water rates, building and contents insurance, electricity, gas, internet and any other personal living expenses.

Ellen Gardens has been designed with energy efficiency in mind, with a 3KW solar power system included in all homes, creating significant energy cost savings. 

Given your new home is survey strata titled there will be an ongoing strata fee which covers amongst other things, the ongoing maintenance of the central park, common areas and front yards. 

When it’s time to sell

It’s your home and you or your family are in total control from start to finish. You decide how long you call Ellen Gardens home for. When it’s time to sell, you appoint your own real estate agent and you decide the selling price. There are no exit or deferred management fees and all profit is yours to keep.
